This touching 9/11 Budweiser commercial paying tribute to our nation only aired once
Nineteen years have passed since the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, which claimed the lives of approximately 3,000 people, yet we remember it as if it were yesterday.
9/11 symbolizes sorrow and grief but also highlights the patriotism of our citizens. On that day, the nation united against those who harmed the country and its people. The whole world mourned the lost lives, with people from every corner of the Earth empathizing with Americans.
During those challenging times, Budweiser aired a commercial that touched the hearts of many. It’s so emotional that it brings tears even to the toughest individuals.
The commercial features Budweiser’s iconic Clydesdale horses making their way through New York City. As they pass the Statue of Liberty and cross the Brooklyn Bridge, they stop at a park and gaze at the skyline.
Finally, they reach the site where the Twin Towers once stood and bow their heads in respect.
The message conveyed is clear: “Never forget and never let this happen again.”
The commercial aired again only on the 10th anniversary of the attack. “We feel our 9/11 Clydesdales tribute ad is very special,” Paul Chibe, VP of Marketing at Anheuser-Busch, stated. “We were proud to re-air the spot on the 10th anniversary to help raise awareness for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum’s fundraising campaign. The subtle changes in the ad reflect the passage of time and the crucial point that we should never forget those lost and affected by 9/11.”
