Why Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley never had children

Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson were married for a brief period, but did they have any children during their relationship?

Lisa Marie Presley’s second husband was Michael Jackson. Their romantic relationship began in 1992 after being introduced at a dinner party hosted by a mutual friend in Los Angeles. They had first met at a concert in Las Vegas in the 1970s, when Lisa Marie was married to her first husband, Danny Keough. Although they became friends, they did not start dating immediately.

In 1993, Jackson proposed to Presley over the phone after she supported him during an investigation. They married in a brief 15-minute ceremony in the Dominican Republic, and Lisa Marie announced their union to the media.

Michael and Lisa Marie made several public appearances together. One of the most notable was in September 1994 when Jackson famously kissed Presley live at the MTV Video Music Awards. Despite their high-profile marriage, rumors began to circulate that it was failing and that they weren’t spending enough time together. The couple also revealed plans to start a family.

However, speculation arose that Jackson’s drug addiction was contributing to their marital problems. Lisa Marie filed for divorce in December 1995, and their marriage officially ended in August 1996.

Lisa Marie and Michael did not have any children together. However, Lisa Marie had four children from her other marriages: Riley and Ben from her marriage to Danny Keough, and Finley Aaron Love Lockwood and Harper Vivienne Ann from her marriage to Michael Lockwood.
