At the bus stop, they wait patiently

At the bus stop, a bustling scene unfolds as a husband and wife, accompanied by their nine children, await transportation. Their group is soon joined by a blind man.

Upon the bus’s arrival, the crowded conditions allow only the wife and children to board. Left with no alternative, the husband and the blind man decide to walk.

During their journey, the husband grows increasingly irritated by the tapping of the blind man’s cane on the pavement. Finally, unable to contain his frustration, he suggests, “Why not add a rubber tip to your cane? That tapping noise is grating on my nerves.”

The blind man’s response is swift and sharp, “If you had a rubber tip on your cane, we’d both be on that bus. So, please, spare me your complaints.”
